There are many gods in Runescape and their presence is accentuated in items, skills, quests and mini-games. Before we proceed to the gods we must define the characteristics that set gods apart from other beings in Runescape.
1. A Runescape god must be immortal
2. A Runescape god must have worshippers/followers
This brings us to the gods themselves. Many of the inhabitants of Gielinor, the Runescape world, only acknowledge the three gods Guthix, Saradomin and Zamorak but there are many other gods hanging around, some of which are known and others which are yet to reveal themselves to the masses. According to the guardians of the god Armadyl there are at least 20 gods but we only have information on 19 of them.
